What’s the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?
Electrolysis treats each hair follicle individually to permanently destroy the follicle’s ability to reproduce, while laser tends to treat larger areas of skin using a laser or light-based lamp. This can reduce hair growth, but will not often remove all the hair permanently. Permanent hair removal with electrolysis requires a longer course of treatments but can result in complete, permanent removal of all hair treated. Electrolysis can work well alongside laser hair removal, and this option can be discussed with your therapist during your first appointment.
