What is an age spot?
Age spots and sun spots are round patches of pigmented skin. Like other forms of uneven pigmentation on the skin, age spots are caused by irregular production of melanin, often brought about by sun damage. Age spots, however, usually only occur on people over the age of 50. They mostly appear on parts of the body that are exposed to the sun more frequently, such as the face, hands and arms. Nuriss skin pigmentation treatments are a gentle and effective way of treating age spots on the face, arms, hands and anywhere else they may be on the body.
