Are people with more moles more at risk of skin cancer?
Everyone is susceptible to skin cancer to some degree, but those with more than 50 moles on their body are generally thought to be more at risk of skin cancer than those with just a few moles. However, all it takes is just one mole to become cancerous. Melanoma can be fatal if left undiagnosed. Ideally, people should have their moles checked at least once a year to ensure safety and peace of mind.
