The Nuriss Baby Face Laser Treatments
Laser Resurfacing with Dr Anita
Nuriss Baby Face Laser Therapy can take years off your face, even out skin tone, diminish brown spots, fine lines and wrinkles and leave you with baby soft skin.
This popular, non-invasive treatment, will leave you with a younger, healthier, more youthful appearance by removing the top layer of your skin, which mainly consist of old damaged skin cells and allowing the healthy new skin below to come to the surface, hence the name ‘resurfacing’.
The new skin cells that form during the natural healing process after laser therapy help to give the skin a tighter, fresher rejuvenated looking surface.
Laser Resurfacing can also greatly improve the appearance of any scarring that you may have by stimulating collagen production. Laser Skin Resurfacing can be performed alone or can be combined with other cosmetic procedures for the face.
Our Nuriss skin experts will be able to guide you as to the best treatment options for you.
If you are considering Laser Resurfacing then your first step is to book a consultation with one of our skin specialists at Nuriss Skincare and Wellness Clinic.
Your Consultation – What to expect
At your initial consultation your skin will be fully assessed. You may wish to have our Advanced Visia skin analysis system. This will allow our skin experts to assess any problems areas and design the perfect treatment for your skin. You will then be advised of the ideal treatment plan for your skin. You will need to have a patch test prior to starting your laser treatment, to ensure that this is a safe procedure for you. Your skincare advisor may recommend a homecare treatment programme to use in advance, to prepare your skin for the laser therapy, in order to achieve optimum results.
The Results – What to expect
The treatment time for Laser Resurfacing varies depending on the size of the treatable area. During the procedure your Skin consultant uses the most advanced Fractional laser to achieve the desired results. She will talk through the process in detail, so that you are involved in the treatment every step of the way.
Following the procedure, it is important that you follow the aftercare advice carefully. All aspects of aftercare will be carefully explained and your consultant will answer any questions or concerns that you may have.
You are likely to be left with some redness and dryness after the procedure and may require several days of downtime to recover from your treatment.
Although the recovery time is a little longer than some of our treatments, Laser Resurfacing does not always require repeat treatments like the conventional ‘light’ resurfacing procedures such as chemical peels, or superficial laser resurfacing.
